Creative geek with roots in the open source software, with curious mindset and a passion for delivering quality maintainable software.
When kids were fighting for playing Prince of Persia in his neighbourhood (1998) Anupam wrote his first lines of code in Turbo Basic. Very quickly he graduated to Turbo Pascal and then to Turbo C++. Three years later he graduated to IIT-Kanpur and got a taste of immense knowledge stored on remote servers of WWW, and he hasn’t looked back.
Powered by Free Software Movement and Linux in 2001, he taught himself a variety of skills including HTML, CSS, administration of Linux desktop and programming in C++, Bash, Perl & Java). By 2006 he became known as local geek and was invited for internship at ITT, University of Stuttgart for working on fast simulation programs doing molecular dynamics and Monte Carlo simulations. He worked on FORTRAN for crunching huge amount of data and wrote many utility programs in Java to visualize it.
After finishing his masters in 2008, he decided to take the plunge into full-time software development job and came back to India to take on the next challenges of his life.
