About

Native development (Ada, Delphi, C, C++, Objective-C). Research object models for native development (IBM System Object Model, Microsoft Component Object Model, Apple Objective-C, Microsoft Windows Runtime). Have a scientific project of making PE/COFF+x86+SOM+OpenStep+Wine be a portability mean for native programming languages.

The major obstacle is web support. As a rule of thumb, if there is something native, it is being thrown out and rewritten on web technologies, just in case abridged version of it can manifest on the web, then this garbage is packaged into Electron, and here, take it, the desktop application. This river flow blows me too. I also need something for web. But my approach is to reverse the flow. To build execution environment inside browser that is resembling desktop. On desktop we have synchronous LoadLibrary, reading file and network streams, and we have threads. I need all of this on web, and I intend to get it by using trampolined style green threads compiler and segmented stacks on top of WebAssembly. Then we can double-compile code for web and natively for desktop and server
