When I make a backup, I have a script that I've written to document packages that have been installed. I rather like that dpkg can use the list generated by the --get-selections option as a source for what should be installed, deinstalled, purged, etc.

However flatpak doesn't appear to offer anything similar. Is flatpak --columns=app list enough to get started? Or is there some other more clever way?
