after crashing my luks encrypted home partition I rebooted into my manjaro live usb stick and reformatted my ssd as I did before.

300mib efi -> flag:boot
16gb swap -> flag:swap; luks
120gb root -> flag: root; luks
>300gb home -> luks

after installing I wanted to restore my timeshift backup which I have for / and /home

After selecting my images timeshift tells me that /boot may not be encrypted even though I never configured anything regarding /boot. To prevent that issue I reinstalled my manjaro again with a seperate boot partition to make timeshift happy

300mib efi -> flag:boot
200mib boot
16gb swap -> flag:swap; luks
120gb root -> flag: root; luks
>300gb home -> luks

While restoring I can now tell timeshift to use that unencrypted boot partition. After restore I still can't boot my system. If I mount / and look into boot it's empty apart from an EFI folder containing boot and manjaro.

Here is my blkid

How can I restore my system with timeshift and luks? How can I make timeshift happy?

halp

Edit: After rebooting my system I do however get asked for my luks password. After typing it in it feels like everything works until I get greeted by the text in the picture. So apparently grub and efi somewhat work...

that's what I get
