I have compiled Linux From Scratch, and enabled the amdgpu driver as a module from the linux kernel config. However, after the module is loaded, the graphics card initiates, then shows a black screen. I can still type into the tty afterward, and startx with a graphical environment (i3) works. I would assume it is something I have to enable in the linux kernel, recompile, or install.
Has anyone experienced this issue or have a fix?
