Please bear with me if you find this question naïve. I'm trying to run Linux apps on Windows 10 (1803 build 17134). So I installed from Microsoft store Ubuntu 20.04. Now I don't succeed to set DISPLAY properly to run graphical/GUI, e.g. gvim. What do I miss? What should I install/run? I tried lots of things, but...:
- "export DISPLAY" - doesn't work, export command is not recognized
- env | grep SSH - doesn't give me IP numbers
- ipconfig - is not recognized
I found some info about X Windows, but I'm not sure if that's what I need. Detailed, step-by-step instructions, like for a small kid, would be warmly appreciated <3
