Same goes for powertop strangely.

I have re-logged in to my session, and rebooted, but that doesn't change anything...

And using bash neither:

What can I do?

  • Please don't post images of text. Copy and paste the text itself into your question and format it as code by selecting it and pressing Ctrl-K or by using the editor's {} icon.

  • It's not code, and it's not an editor.

  • Did you have to make an effort to miss the point that badly, or does it come naturally? 1. You posted an image of text rather than the text itself - see the link in my comment for a summary of the reasons why that's a bad idea. 2. The editor I referred to is the editor built in to this site - the one you used to post your question. 3. Any plain text, including commands and command output - not just "code" - benefits from the monospace font and the background colour used by this site and its editor to highlight code.

  • I see, an actual explanation goes much farther than just commanding, and can be more helpful. I still don't see what the monospace and background color have to do with it. I can imagine the question is easier to index with text rather than image. The reason I chose screenshots is to show the immediate chronological order of the commands so there is no confusion. I am a natural though, to answer you initial question, but I don't think rhetoric is going to help anyone..
