    What does "something like healthchecks.io " mean? What specific features do you need? What operating systems would it be running on? What kind of jobs would it be monitoring? For all users?   • It's easy to put "I started/stopped/died" messages into the system logs with logger (Read man logger). You can modify your cron jobs to leave status files, or send emails. You can use journalctl to see cron jobs starting (man journalctl). What, precisely, do you want to do? I will not sign up to healthchecks.io to see details.
