Exec=/home/user/script.sh
Hidden=false

Name=TEST
Comment=TEST

i found problem that when i install ubuntu first time its working and several time after restart it is ok, but i notice that when there is some power supply problems and after powerloss pc starts and script wont run. and i restart many times,nothing happend, so i tried to change this line

Exec=/home/user/script.sh

  • From the terminal, what does xdg-open $HOME/.config/autostart/your_file.desktop show? Jul 8 at 2:56
  • it open a script [Desktop Entry] Type=Application Exec=/home/user/script.sh Hidden=false X-MATE-Autostart-enabled=true Name[en_US]=TEST Name=TEST Comment=TEST /home/user/.config/autostart/my.sh.desktop (END) Jul 8 at 6:21
  • Hmmm...that was supposed to run the script. Install dex and run dex $HOME/.config/autostart/your_file.desktop. Jul 8 at 16:18
