I'm trying to install mesa-common-dev on Ubuntu LTS:

sudo apt-get install mesa-common-dev

however, the system returns:

    The following packages have unmet dependencies:

in the source.list file.

Reset to default

focal-updates is missing in your /etc/apt/sources.list, to correct the problem:

echo "deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu focal-updates main restricted  universe multiverse" |\
sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list
sudo apt update
sudo apt install mesa-common-dev
