Not sure why my windows boot option is missing but I've tried some of the normal options, os-probe, update-grub, boot-repair, with no success. See below for output of boot-repair which shows it can detect the windows partition but it isn't added to the grub menu!

  • You tried a BIOS repair to a UEFI system. You have to always boot in UEFI mode. How you boot repair flash drive UEFI or BIOS for both Windows & Ubuntu is how it repairs. Reboot in UEFI mode & rerun Boot-Repair. It will not fix Windows issues. If booting from UEFI boot menu can you not directly boot Windows? Do not post entire Boot-Repair report, but post the pastebin site it gives you for the report. – oldfred Mar 16 at 19:59
  • Hi, thanks for your help. I will try booting into UEFI usb live Ubuntu and boot repair again. I cannot boot windows at all even through UEFI boot menu. I will use paste bin next time, thanks! – Ben Green Mar 17 at 9:55
