does anyone have an idea if Siemens ID mouse with fingerprint reader can be used under linux. The driver is there - "The driver is included in all kernels from 2.6.11 upwards." mouse is detected and works OK. Also /dev/idmouse0 is created and if put my finger on the reader window and do cat /dev/idmouse0 > /home/user/Pictures/fingerprint.pnm I do get a Netpbm grayscale image of my fingerprint. The device ID is

$ lsusb
Bus 001 Device 009: ID 0681:0005 Siemens Information and Communication Products ID-Mouse with Fingerprint Reader

I was wondering if this is supported by any linux fingerprint reading/login program that I could use with gnome?

ID-mouse
