if i have an opened graphical program , and can't tell its name or PID to kill or process other commands on using $ ps aux , how can i get its name or pid without having any background info about it ?

  • Maybe xkill is what you are looking for? Run it in a terminal and it will prompt you to click on the window you wish to kill, – icarus Sep 6 '20 at 13:56
