NGINX : HLS File Proxy

Question

I am facing one issue related to NGINX proxy_pass.

I want to use proxy_pass to redirect the URL. I do have two URL:

1. one URL which is having UDP multicast packets
2. HLS URL

I am able to tune to UDP Multicast IP, but not able to tune to HLS URL.

For example :

server
{
        listen 11002;

        location /
        {
                proxy_pass  http://127.0.0.1:17200/ndtvindiaip.m3u8;        // Not Working , means not able to play content on VLC
                proxy_pass  http://10.123.123.1:17200/ndtvindiaip.m3u8;     // Not Working , means not able to play content on VLC
                proxy_pass  http://127.0.0.1:1720/ndtvindia;                // Working , means able to play content on VLC
                proxy_pass  http://10.123.123.1:17200/ndtvindia             // Working, , means able to play content on VLC
        }
}

If i put following URL to VLC: http://My_IP:11002

Please help me to resolve this issue.
