I follow the hint

and type this command at the kernel :

rpm --import https://www.elrepo.org/RPM-GPG-KEY-elrepo.org

It gives the following error :

curl: (7) Failed connect to www.elrepo.org:443; Connection timed out error: https://www.elrepo.org/RPM-GPG-KEY-elrepo.org: import read failed(2).

Would you please tell me the alternative to upgrade my kernel of Centos 7 ?

My current one is

Linux localhost.localdomain 3.10.0-1062.4.1.el7.x86_64 #1 SMP Fri Oct 18 17:15:30 UTC 2019 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

  • This looks like your internet connection is down or not configured. Can you access other internet sites, e.g., by browsing to google.com? – doneal24 Nov 7 at 2:45

  • You can use export https_proxy=https://your.proxy.server:port/ to enable a proxy server for curl. – doneal24 Nov 7 at 2:54
