I've installed Kubuntu on my mom's PC, after which I installed Wine to run Microsoft Office 2007.

The Office suite itself runs quite good. Wine created desktop files, which show up in the 'programs' list, which is fine too.

However, when I assign 'Word' to run as the default program to open .doc and .docx-files, the trouble starts. Word does open, but opens a new document (as the file argument gets lost).

I've already added the %f and %F options, but those didn't work. Using z:%f as hinted in a few other answers did yield some result, namely that the file z:/.../document%20name.docx could not be found.

So, which is the right argument to use to enable opening files with Word.
