When running the MATE-Compiz spin of Fedora, enabling compiz with the
System > Preferences > Look and Feel > Simple CompizConfig Settings Manager (simple-ccm package) will enable compiz effects on the desktop.
However, I cannot replicate the same behavior after having installed the same packages. I can enable compiz just fine but doing so will replace the window decorations (title bar) with something else.
I am trying to use the TraditionalOk theme provided by MATE and its macro window manager:
But when I enable desktop effects (compiz), it changes the window decoration to something else; probably some fallback default:
I can confirm that on the live image that enabling compiz in this way, the original marco themes are preserved. What do I have to do to allow compiz to behave in this manner when installing the packages separately?
