I keep getting the following errors whenever I try to start the KDE environment on my Ubuntu 19.04 install:

 ksplashqml: /usr/local/lib/libQt5Gui.so.5: no version information (required by ksplashqml)

I have completely removed all the packages and reinstalled KDE already by doing:

 sudo apt remove *qt*
 sudo apt install kde-plasma-desktop

This problem occured since switching virtualbox version, but I now have no idea how to fix this problem besides doing a complete reinstall, which is highly unfavorable. Does anyone have pointers on how to fix this?

The output of qmake --version is:

QMake version 3.1
Using Qt version 5.12.2 in /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu

And the output of qtchooser --print-env is:

QT_SELECT="default"
QTTOOLDIR="/usr/lib/qt5/bin"
QTLIBDIR="/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu"

If I need to provide any other information, I am glad to do so.
