I need to checkout code from svn in my redhat virtual machine but I dont have internet access on that vm so that I can download the svn utility for checking out the code. I need to download the setup file for svn utility from windows machine then I need to copy the same into my Redhat vm using winscp and need to configure the same. But I dont know what to download in my windows machine and how to configure the same in my redhat vm. Kindly suggest on the same. I have download one tar file from here : https://www.apache.org/dist/subversion/subversion-1.10.4.tar.gz but I dont know how to configure using above tar file. Kindly help me on the same.

  • Maybe you can find some "portable svn Client" ? – gerhard d. Aug 14 at 7:16
  • Why not install the “subversion” RPM from red hat? You’ll need to install a ton of development packages to build subversion, many more than what you’d need for the subversion rpm. – jsbillings Aug 15 at 0:49
