What do you mean? A process descriptor is a runtime concept. Are you trying to get information about an executable? What problem are you trying to solve? – Gilles Jun 10 at 11:52
  • @Giles Sorry, I'm not familiar with this subject. What I'm trying to say is how do I access the task_struct behind a process if it's not the current process? – Ramsey Alsheikh Jun 10 at 12:57
  • Oh, are you doing kernel programming? That's off-topic here, but you can ask on Stack Overflow. You'll need to provide more information, because as it is, the question cannot be answered. What process do you want information about? What are you going to do with the information (this is important, maybe you need to take a lock)? – Gilles Jun 10 at 13:06
  • Oh, thanks! I didn't know, sorry. – Ramsey Alsheikh Jun 10 at 13:29
