I am trying to set up a Samba server and I have a weird issue where I cannot add any new shares to it. I have added the following

[folder1]
comment = folder1
path = /files/folder1
browsable = yes
read only = no

I added the following and restarted the Samba server but when I try to connect to it by using Map Network Drive in Windows 10, it says that Windows cannot access \\folder1. When I click on Diagnose, it says that the IP exists, but Windows can't find "folder1". When I try using my Mac, I can see the folder, but I cannot access it and I get the notification "The operation can’t be completed because the original item for “folder1” can’t be found." I had added two shares when I set the server up and those work perfectly. The new ones are not working. I did give full permission to the folders and I restarted smbd each time after I changed the smb.conf file. Thanks in advance.

UPDATE: After some more digging, I found that it is the directory name(what I write into path) in the server machine that matters. So I can use another share definition with this folder name and it works.
