I have a host for which I have its public IP address. I'd like to use this public IP to redirect the FTP access to an FTP running on another host.

Example: Consider the host for which I have the public IP access has private IP 0.0.0.0 and its public IP is 1.1.1.1. Considering also the FTP server with private IP 2.2.2.2, I'd like to redirect the accesses ftp://1.1.1.1:21 to ftp://2.2.2.2:21, in a way the FTP will be accessed by using the available public IP.

I tried to configure and enable httpd virtual host on 0.0.0.0 host as below:

<VirtualHost *:21>
    ServerName 2.2.2.2
    ErrorLog /var/log/httpd/ftp_error.log
    CustomLog /var/log/httpd/ftp_requests.log combined
    LogLevel debug
    ProxyPass / ftp://2.2.2.2:21/
    ProxyPassReverse / ftp://2.2.2.2:21/
</VirtualHost>

But the request to ftp://1.1.1.1:21 fails. Do you have any suggestion?

Thanks in advance
