In Mint 19.1 Cinnamon, after reboot, brightness is always 5%. This occurred twice with new installs. I can reset brightness in the Power Management, but I don't want to do it each time.

This line, which I thought I would add to .bashrc , changes brightness, but only as a fraction of the setting in Power Management: MON=$(xrandr | grep " connected" | cut -f1 -d " ") && xrandr --output $MON --brightness 1

How can I set brightness permanently, so that it does not reset on reboot?
