Sticking a yubikey in my computer I see,

$ xinput --list
...
⎣ Virtual core keyboard id=3 [master keyboard (2)]
    ↳ Virtual core XTEST keyboard id=5 [slave keyboard (3)]
    ↳ AT Translated Set 2 keyboard id=10 [slave keyboard (3)]
    ↳ ThinkPad Extra Buttons id=12 [slave keyboard (3)]
    ↳ Yubico YubiKey OTP+FIDO+CCID              id=13   [slave  keyboard (3)]

If I want to write a program that targets the Yubico YubiKey for input, how would I go about doing that knowing that the xinput is 13?
