I tried reinstalling Ubuntu on my laptop. After doing so it messed up the boot loader and brought me to this black screen (I think it’s the grub boot menu). I have to manually type in the commands to either boot Linux or Windows operating system. I didn’t fix it and just kept manually booting but now I have problem. I have to reinstall my windows os and before completes it does a reboots when I put the commands in to boot windows the installation fails and never completes . Idk what to do the partition i boot windows from is now erased . How can I fix grub to automatically boot the windows partition or if possible can I delete grub and go back to the windows boot loader menu enter image description here

  • Boot with live Linux bootable media and use grub-mkconfig to update GRUB configuration. – Biswapriyo Apr 23 at 5:06
