I connected a USB-serial dongle to Ubuntu and I get it as /dev/ttyUSB0. I can also see it:

$ lsusb
Bus 001 Device 007: ID 067b:2303 Prolific Technology, Inc. PL2303 Serial Port

However, I may connect further USB-serial devices in the future. How can I ensure that ttyUSB0 stays the same independently from the number of devices I connect?

If I cannot, what should I enter as device path in the configuration files? for example, I need to set its speed at boot time via rc.local.
