I want to generate an animated preview of a video using gstreamer for preview on a webpage. I'm able to get a static PNG with the pipeline

filesrc location=... ! decodebin ! videoconvert ! pngenc snapshot=true ! filesink location=...

and a static WebP with

filesrc location=... ! decodebin ! videoconvert ! webpenc ! filesink location=...

Apparently there is a APNG encoder with libav, but it always throws the following error:

gst-launch-1.0 filesrc location=... ! decodebin ! videoconvert ! avenc_apng ! filesink location=...

The gstreamer version is 1.14.1.

Is there a way to generate either an APNG, GIF or animated WebP with a gstreamer pipeline?
