I'm trying to install git on a college server, just for my user, but for some reason I can't compile it. I tried the latest version on github, as well as a couple random older versions from both github and kernel.org
make configure results in this
I was able to compile zsh from source without any issues, so at least
make seems to work correctly
OpenBSD [redacted host name] 6.0 GENERIC.MP#2319 amd64
Reading specs from /usr/lib/gcc-lib/amd64-unknown-openbsd6.0/4.2.1/specs Target: amd64-unknown-openbsd6.0 Configured with: OpenBSD/amd64 system compiler Thread model: posix gcc version 4.2.1 20070719
EDIT: After some time of trying to get git to work, I give up (at least for now). I'm going to ask the admins to install git, but in the meantime I'll have to use workarounds, like downloading zip files from GitHub, instead of cloning.
