Im writing file to a mounted image. It saves there, im unmounting image, extract it contents by jefferson and its gone. Where is my file? How it is that i see it only when image is mounted? I'm stuck

edit: found out that i was changing the content in mtdram, not the image itself. Still stuck on a problem, how to make that ram contenct back into an image

If you remount the image can you see the file(s) that you wrote? – roaima Feb 11 at 19:53

Yes. Using the same image, to create new mtd device, and that mounted device has that file in its filesystem. But when i'm using the same image to just extract its data, it lacks this file. – GrzegorzK Feb 11 at 20:08
