I run the command below but its giving me

bash: ./etc/profile: Permission Denied


How will I fix it? Im the root user.

    you should leave a space between the . and /etc/profile if you want to source that file: . /etc/profile. If you don't do that, the shell will try to run it as an executable script, and will fail with that error. – mosvy Mar 3 at 13:09
