I use mutt 1.10.1 on Ubuntu 16.04 and have this line in my .mailcap because before importing work calendar events to my personal Gmail calendar, I want to anonymize all the attendees email addresses:

text/calendar; ~/bin/dump-ical.py %s; copiousoutput; print=sed -e "s/somecompany/foo/" %s | gcalcli import

This does import the event to Gmail but unaltered. If I remove | gcalcli import I however see on the terminal that sed is replacing the text as I expect.

I don't understand why gcalcli still sees the original content.

dump-ical.py is only for making the ics human readable. I understood it would not be used for when I press p for printing.
