I have a laptop asus with windows 10 and debian 9. efi grub like bootloader. I wish boot it both of them without password. The problem is lightdm: with autologin the desktop environment dosn't finish load. Precisely the screen is black. I have to move mouse or to press some keys for starting the session. It seems like on suspension. I read all file log without finding something wrong.

I followed these guide too:

  • The three guides you link are all for setting up a command-line autologin -- they'll give you console, ie. full-screen shell. What additional steps did you take to enable graphical autologin with lightdm? What desktop environment does it eventually start (after you use the mouse/keys)? – JigglyNaga Jan 9 at 10:46
