I dual boot Fedora and Windows 10, while working on Windows I had a Blue Screen of Death and my battery died almost immediately after, when I rebooted my laptop I was greeted with a grub prompt. Now I cannot select any operating system using the GRUB menu, both Fedora and Windows appear when I press F9 to change the 'Boot device order' but I can only use Windows if I choose Fedora I go to the same prompt.

I tried running boot-repair using 'Recommended repair' and it claims to have completed successfully but nothing is fixed.

  • This line in your output "The integrity check of Syslinux failed." makes me think grub got deleted/corrupted. You might try booting rescue and reinstalling grub. See this post, first response – number9 Nov 8 at 23:11
