I have a fairly recent installation of Ubuntu 18.04. Lately it has been really slow on startup. Another similar question suggested looking at dmesg and there are what look like two errors to me:

You can see the big time step not to mention the cups error. Note that I get a cups error report I get every time I reboot and I do not know how to resolve that either, although they seem to be related.
I am not sure what these errors mean (although the segfault seems to stem from the marutter ppa?) or what I might do to resolve them. Any ideas would be appreciated.
