We have an external smtp server that we usually use alongside with a nullmailer on a Debian server to send emails. Nullmailer is small, simple and works. Unfortunately, It is not available as an rpm package for CentOS.

Is there anyway to get it installed? Or is there a simple alternative way that can help to receive local emails and then forwarding them to external smtp server with a secure login?

I know that sendmail and postfix can do anything under the sun, but this is exactly why I strongly prefer simple single task tools like nullmailer.

EPEL has msmtp and ssmtp which sound similar to what nullmailer does – thrig Jun 29 '18 at 13:53
