I am using xfce4 in linux-mint. Touchpad click is not working while I can scroll using 2 fingers and left-right clicks are also working. Contents of file /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/50-synaptics.conf are:

Section "InputClass"
    Identifier "touchpad catchall"
    Driver "synaptics"
    MatchIsTouchpad "on"
    Option "TapButton1" "1"
    Option "VertEdgeScroll" "1"
#This option is recommend on all Linux systems using evdev, but cannot be
# enabled by default. See the following link for details:

  MatchDevicePath "/dev/input/event*"

When I run synclient TapButton=1 command I get error:

Couldn't find synaptics properties. No synaptics driver loaded?

and output of xinput -list is:

Virtual core pointer id=2 [master pointer
⎜ ↳ Virtual core XTEST pointer id=4 [slave
pointer (2)]
⎜ ↳ Logitech USB Receiver id=11 [slave
pointer (2)]
⎜ ↳ ETPS/2 Elantech Touchpad id=15 [slave
pointer (2)]

So it is using Elantech driver instead of synaptics driver, should I change the driver? If not then how to fix the issue?
