Maybe someone can help me:

I want a raspberry pi work as a Gateway. All incoming traffic should be redirected to an external web proxy. Is there a chance to realize that with iptables? I am not very familiar with that.

Background: We have a wifi Controller which should have internet access to enable some features. The wifi controller needs “direct” internet connection. Unfortunately we have some restrictions in our company. We are only allowed to have access to the internet over company proxy. We cannot configure proxy settings direct on the wifi controller because it is not supported.

  • What Wifi Controller are you using? – siom Apr 25 '18 at 10:51
  • Presumably your second sentence means "All incoming web traffic should be redirected to an external web proxy."? Redirecting all traffic is a possibility but surely isn't what you want? – roaima Apr 26 '18 at 6:49
  • We use Aruba 7210 Controller. It is possible to configure proxy settings on this controller. But this is only for redirecting user traffic to proxy not for Management. The features we want to use only working when management ip connects to the internet. – Rene Apr 26 '18 at 10:58
