As we know, recently Google released binaries of ADB/Fastboot which now can be downloaded separately. Everywhere they write you can use them as is from the directory (i.e. "just works"), however I wasn't able to run it like this.

If I run it as usual (like if I'd installed it from repo), it shows

fastboot is not installed, install it from android-tools-fastboot

If I try to run it from current directory like this

./fastboot

I get error

fastboot: usage :no command

If I add current dir to path via .bashrc like

export PATH=/currentdir:$PATH

the result is the same.

What am I doing wrong?
