I just installed kali linux on one of my machines. It is suposed to dual boot with windows. I had done this before without any problems but this time when i select kali from the boot menu it comes up with a GRUB terminal. I installed kali then added an entry to the boot menu with easy bcd, I used grub2 at first but then changed it to grub but i had no results. Windows works fine with no problems at all. If you need any more infomation please ask.
EDIT: sorry if this was confusing i will try to be clearer this time
This is what i did.
I have a PC with windows 10 on it. I want to dual boot kali linux on the same PC. So i install kali linux. I go back onto windows and use EasyBCD to make a boot menu entry with the grub2 bootloader. I restart the PC and select Kali Linux in the boot menu. I expect to see the kali log on screan but i see a GRUB bootloader terminal. I can't boot into kali linux because of this but window still works. I then reinstalled kali bur got the same result.
