I'm using Debian unstable and I have a graphical problem after my computer suspend. My Xfce desktop is not correctly rendered on the wakeup, I can see my background through the panel (see screenshot)

dmesg log shows an error "i915 [...] has bogus alignment". Here is dmesg during the "suspend" action:

How can I fix it?

  • I haven't checked but this is almost certainly either a harmless message or a bug in the driver. If this causes problems, upgrade or downgrade to another version, this isn't something a user can fix – Gilles May 23 '16 at 22:05
  • @Gilles Ok. It causes only graphical non-blocking inconveniences. I will wait an update of the driver. – ppr May 24 '16 at 8:10
