Because you have DocumentRoot /var/www/html/teampass in your https virtual host definition the URL https://teampass.urban.org/teampass is actually trying to serve the file /var/www/html/teampass/teampass/index.php which doesn't exist. Either change the DocumentRoot in the https virtual host or move where your files are saved so that they're in the right place.

  • thank you for your reply . I am a little confused. Document root in https vhost should point to the site siting in /var/www/html/teampass. So please elaborate so I understand what you saying. I am kinda new to this. – Lolu911 Dec 4 '15 at 18:23

Right. The document root is pointing to /var/www/html/teampass but the URL is specifying the path teampass/ within the document root. Therefore httpd is trying to serve up the file /var/www/html/teampass/teampass/index.php which doesn't exist. – David King Dec 4 '15 at 18:25
  • Okay i get it. let me try changing to /var/www/html so it looks in html for teampass. – Lolu911 Dec 4 '15 at 18:27
  • so i changed documentroot to /var/www/html and the page not found is gone but all i get is nothing. index.php is in teampass so i expect Apache to open the index page at least. – Lolu911 Dec 4 '15 at 18:30

If you're getting a blank page then httpd is returning an empty response. Typically when I've seen this in the past it's due to a syntax error in the index.php file. Check your httpd error logs. – David King Dec 4 '15 at 20:46
