I am in the middle of writing a bash script which involves imagemagick taking a set of images in one directory, cropping them at 16/9 ratio from the center, and renaming them "image" + 5 digit number.

I think this is the way if I know the image dimensions (see below), but how do I include ratios into the crop?

usr/bin/convert *.jpg -gravity Center -crop 3888x2187+0+0 -scene 1 -path /another_folder/image_%05d.jpg

Also, would that rename the jpgs incrementally by a 5 digit sequence?
