This may sound trivial, but I haven't found a solution anywhere yet. Is there a way to backup or clone an apt repository such that I get a clone that (1) contains all current packages and (2) keeps all old packages.
I know that there is
apt-clone but the very brief documentation doesn't say anything if old package versions are kept. Unfortunately our product depends on packages from a repository where only the newest version is kept. I would like to maintain a local repository that contains the current and all old package versions. Is that possible and how?
