How to make bash put prompt on a new line after cat command? Since this is bash preference, can it break piping commands? |

How to make bash put prompt on a new line after cat command? Now that's a bit too much, even if it works ;-) Thanks though! |

How to make bash put prompt on a new line after cat command? Thank you a lot for a working solution and succinct explanation! I understand this is a bit much for poor cat, so I'll keep this as a last resort for the time when this issue starts bothering me again. |

How to make bash put prompt on a new line after cat command? The thing is I don't care if the file has a newline at the end or not. I wanna be able to see cat output more clear and not this disruptive :-) And I understand it's not cat's job so probably I'm looking for some workaround. |
