I re ran the command and this time it automatically stopped at 99%. I ran $?. It returned 0 - now I can assume that the download is successful?

actually, it was my fault. I was looking for exactly for the term: "CONFIG_CPU_FREQ". I realized later on that it is the "prompt" that we have to look for: "CPU Frequency scaling".

@AnsgarEsztermann Thanks, your reply w.r.t that zypper error was helpful. I disabled the google repo and it did start downloading from the suse repo. I suggest that you add that suggestion in your answer so that future readers also get the benefit.

perhaps that page needs refreshes. BTW, can you just add your answer, that how this command decides which files to put in which folders. I had used svn import command.

The address which you showed does download "everything", not just one file. But if you actually click the links you won't see any other file than the html, why is that so?
