`cp -al` snapshot whose hard links get directed to a new file when edited I was thinking using rsync to a server which has a cronjob to do cp -al regularly for snapshots.. alongside rsync-ing onwards for even more copies. How does that sound? |

Apt-get, no sudoers file I can't become root by typing su. it says 'authentication failure'. But I can create directories with 'sudo mkdir somedirectory' for instance and my password gets accepted then. |

How to make LXTerminals open maximized in Lubuntu 11.04? It appears like the answer works for 12.04, but vasa1's comment works for 11.04. |

Terminal change keys I want to be able to change what gets written when i type in the terminal. And that means, whenever I start the terminal.. that's a window who will receive my keyboard input in this new way. |

Terminal change keys I find this very confusing actually. So I make a Xmodmap file in my home directory (there is no such file currently, im using L-Ubuntu 11.04). So how do I for instance, make that file turn 'A' into 'B'? |
