comment None of the dot-files is sourced when running bash via ssh, part II
The question stands; how to make bash source some file automatically when running a non-interactive session. There must be a way, right?

Also important; assume that there are hundreds of such commands somewhere in the codebase; to use your solution I'll have to change the code everywhere. This is doable but seems to be so ugly.

Thanks, but this solution doesn't work for me (I explained it in the prev. post and forgot to add here). The reason is: this needs to be run for all shells (e.g. including tsch / sch) and all users.

Seems that I cannot add more than 60 or so chars here so I've got to ask my question separately again. Sorry ab. that. Again, this one is not solved, and digging much more for a couple of days didn't help.

Here is a bit newer formulation of the problem and my current understanding of the root of it.

comment CutyCapt seems to ignore the Xvfb screen size parameters
Many thanks. I've got a confirmation from "the" source that this is a desired behavior. Alas. But thanks for your help.
