Yep, looks like it got dropped.

comment Why does running a Cron Job as root stop the sshd service and disallows login for other users?
Given you didn't paste the original script, it's hard to know what other information you've not given us.

comment Limited access to a directory's contents
What have you tried so far and what, if anything didn't work?

comment How can I find an address in a large file with grep?
Can you include some actual examples of real data, because I don't understand the details. Give a working example of what you have to find, what you have to find it in, and what you want to output.

comment Is it reasonable to use a journaling FS on a filesystem image that is stored on a filsystem that already provides journaling?
Honestly, no idea, but I'd ask myself is it possible for corruption (logical or physical) to occur in the filesystem image independently of any corruption in the filesystem hosting it. If yes, use ext4, if no, use ext2. Or, is the overhead of ext4 enough to even worry about the question - just use ext4 for both.

comment Why does using the service command work on a systemd distro?
If you have a look at /usr/sbin/service you'll probably find it's a shell script with code to handle upstart, systemd and init.d style scripts.

comment Cannot mv to a subdirectory of itself
Beside the issue, is there a reason you don't just run sudo cp /home/pi/NewLog.log /media/usb/NewLog-$(date '+%FT%T').log ?

comment Connect To Host With PureFTP
So you either have a firewall in the way on your local machine (sudo iptables -L) or you haven't set the port forwarding up properly on your router. Note that FTP requires more than just port 21.
