I do software development for a living and as a hobby (examples). My favorite ecosystem (and language) is that of Python, and my OS of choice is Debian.

libcanberra is failing to build The command for that is apt-get build-dep libcanberra. Anyways, I did run it and still got the same problem. BTW my problem got fixed later on by... who knows. I wish I could pinpoint what the trouble was :( |

“database disk image is malformed” @Gilles Probably because I kept on killing yum when it was doing it's package metadata downloads. Also, I'm running this on a VM, so maybe yum got confused with the messed-up dates. |
