ssh hanging then time out This made me <headdesk/> even while in bed. Sarcasm fail. What I (mockingly) suggested, is the documentation does not contain info on the appropriate (sic) settings |

ssh hanging then time out I call hand-waivy: Enabling "remote login" doesn't actually mean anything. Fixing the problem should also enable "remote login", FWIW |

linux free disk space confusion So... you expect us to sum the values. Please use du -smc /* | sort -n -r vs. df -m instead (also fixes the broken sort) |

How can I run a script immediately after connecting via SSH? So sorry, you mentioned tmux but it didn't mean anything to me. Thanks for mentioning a new tool though! |

How can I read line by line from a variable in bash? @eugene: that's funny. What system (distro/OS) is that on? |

Is it good to make a separate partition for /boot? @Faheem M.: So.... are you saying it doesn't work for you, or mainly that I must be remembering the timeframe badly? A very quick google turned up this entry posted on November 20th, 2006 so I'm going to bet I was right with my timeframe. |
